Staying Connected

Interactions may look different these days, but there are still ways to stay connected with one another. Human connection is more important now than ever. While we all weather the same storm, we all lie in different boats, so take a moment to check in with each other. Here are a few ideas of ways to stay in contact with your friends and co-workers:

1. Video calls

These are perfect for work conference calls as well as personal calls. They provide a form of connection, accountability, and honest connection. You can see each other face to face and make the distance seem that much smaller. You can even have “coffee break” with coworkers to chat for a few minutes.

2. Letters/packages

Send card to one of your co-workers or friends to let them know you are thinking about them! This can be a hand-written letter to them know you are thinking about them, or even a care package with their favorite snacks and activities to keep them busyA personal touch makes all the difference!

3. Newsletters

Keep your company in the loop with company performance updates, get to know you sections, and helpful work from home tips! Help them feel connected to the office even though we might not physically be in it. You can also do this with your friends; create a slideshow with pictures to update them on your life and let them know how you’ve been keeping busy during quarantine
